Fleets and lanes - Maxxwell by Rindler

A fleet is a directory of local records. A lane is one scoped unit of work represented in those records. The current maxxwell fleet surface is a reader. It does not create a fleet, launch lanes, or prove that another process is supervising them.

Point the reader at a fleet

The scope file is authoritative. The reader then loads only the corresponding lanes/<lane>.json records.

A scoped lane with no readable record remains visible with unknown values and a diagnostic.
A stale record outside scope is not shown.

That distinction prevents a missing record from looking like a clean result.

Interactive and machine-readable views

The JSON form reports the schema version emitted by the installed build. Treat it as a versioned interface rather than parsing the formatted terminal view.
